Within these agreements the company’s acknowledge that Aegis can legitimately speak for the workforce as a whole and enter into negotiations on behalf of the entire workforce – not just union members.
Aegis have a right to:
- Request the disclosure of information
- Time off with pay to carry out Aegis activities and training
- Appoint health and safety reps
- Actively recruit members
- Represent members at formal hearings
