Aegis Unionlearn project is looking to recruit Union Learning Representatives in all locations throughout the UK. Unionlearn Representatives have a key role to play in supporting and encouraging the professional learning and skills development of their colleagues.
Unionlearn representatives work with Aegis to improve the development opportunities for all employees. This involves raising the profile of continuing professional development within the departments, helping individuals access appropriate information, advice and guidance to support their career development. Unionlearn representatives will be required to liaise with employers to negotiate the time and resources for participation and promote continual professional learning programmes.
Aegis aims to recruit 20 more Unionlearn representatives over the next year to help us deliver this project.
To support all new union learning representatives, Aegis will provide a range of support including:
• Unionlearn stage 1 and stage 2 training.
• Regular briefings and other training courses
• Opportunities to meet with other unionlearning representatives
• Support and advice from the Aegis office
If you are interested in working with Aegis to support and encourage the professional learning and skills development of your colleagues please contact Mary O'Brien Unionlearn project worker by either email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 07808 540803.
